Shaw, Savill retained 5 ships and Captain John Leslie took 3 Albion ships. These additional sailing ships were chartered to SSA. Shaw, Savill and Albion Line was a long established company trading to Australia and New Zealand. It had a reputation as easy going with some rough ships and crews. I sailed to New Zealand on two ships but neither was the happiest of trips.
